Open authenticator settings
- On Binance’s website, open Profile → Account → Security.
- Choose Manage beside Authenticator App, then Enable Authenticator App.
- Keep the QR code and setup key page open until you have added the entry.
Add Binance to Sign In
You can use Sign In, our authenticator app for codes on your iPhone.
- With the setup QR code on another screen, open Sign In and tap Add → Scan QR Code.
- Scan the code, review the account details, and tap Add Account.
- Choose Next on Binance, enter the current six-digit code, and complete any additional security checks. Confirm activation.
Binance provides a setup key alongside its QR code. Use that key for setup on the same iPhone. In Sign In, choose Add → Enter Setup Key, set Service to Binance and Account to your account name, paste the secret into Key, then tap Add Account. Keep this key private.
Protect the setup key and recovery access
The setup secret can generate your codes, so keep it private. If you retain a recovery copy, store it securely away from the phone. Keep your account email and other enrolled verification methods accessible too.
If you cannot restore access, use Security verification unavailable? at Binance’s verification screen and follow its reset checks. A reset or authenticator change can temporarily restrict withdrawals and other account functions. Read the specific notice shown for your account; do not assume immediate access.
Other verification methods
Depending on your account, Binance may offer passkeys, phone, or email verification. These may be additional checks rather than interchangeable alternatives for every action. Follow the methods requested by the service.
If a code does not work
Make sure the Binance entry in Sign In matches the account you are using. Wait for a fresh code, then enter it before it changes. If fresh codes keep failing, check that your iPhone uses automatic date and time.
Keep a working sign-in session and your recovery information available while resolving the problem. Adding an entry to Sign In does not finish enrollment: the service must accept a code and confirm activation.
